What this tool does

RebootRadar monitors Windows and Mac devices across Art Fund and sends daily reminder emails to users whose laptops haven't been properly shut down or restarted.

The metric is days since last clean boot — not simply "last seen online." Windows data comes from Intune via Microsoft Graph; Mac data comes from Kandji.

Reminders are sent once per device per working day, within each user's predicted end-of-day window. No reminders are sent on weekends.

Severity tiers & emails

Amber and red devices receive different subject lines and header colours to convey urgency. Emails are sent from support@artfund.org.

Dashboard features

• Click any device row to see last boot time, next predicted reminder, OS version, disk space and full reminder history
• Use the filter buttons to focus on amber, red or unknown devices
• The compliance trend chart shows the last 30 days of fleet-wide data
• Use ⚡ Send reminders to manually trigger emails outside the normal send window
• Does not force restarts or store usernames beyond operational necessity
• Device IDs are opaque identifiers from the device management platform
